We offer the films at three different price points:
Educational License
Educational License for High Schools & Volunteer Organizations*
Individuals & Public Libraries
The educational license grants non-paying public performance rights to
universities, colleges, libraries, high schools and other institutions. It also
entitles you to our DVD return program: for up to four years after purchase, if
your DVD becomes scratched or unusable, simply return the DVD to us and we will
mail you a replacement copy at a cost of $50, including shipping. Please note
that the individual purchase price does not grant public performance rights, including classroom screenings. It is for home viewing purposes only.
*Contact us if you are not sure if your organization qualifies as a volunteer organization.

Because Zipporah Films, Inc. is a Massachusetts based company, we are obligated to charge sales tax on all orders shipped within the state. If you are an MA based educational or tax-exempt institution, please enter code “matax” at checkout for the exemption of the 6.25% MA sales tax on your order.

PLEASE NOTE that International Airmail shipping is done at your own risk.
We cannot be responsible for any DVDs lost or damaged in transit if you select
International Airmail service. We also will not ship more than 2 DVDs by airmail
service. If you select International Airmail as your shipping method but have three
or more DVDs in your shopping cart, the pricing will default to International
Priority pricing.
If you wish to use your own courier service such as FedEx, DHL, or UPS and provide the shipping label, we will adjust your order to only reflect the handling charge of $15.
Terms and Conditions for Sales
All sales are final. No refunds will be issued. If a DVD is received in damaged or unsatisfactory condition, it may be exchanged for a new copy of the same film. Damages must be reported within 14 days of receipt of video. Shipments that do not arrive within 30 days of email shipping confirmation must be reported to Zipporah Films. After 30 days, Zipporah Films is no longer held responsible for replacement. Zipporah Films is not responsible for tracking, shipping speed, or other delivery related issues. We ask that our customers be very attentive to delivery slips for attempted deliveries as multiple attempted deliveries lead to your shipment being held at the local post office and, if unclaimed, returned to our office.
RENTAL INFORMATION
For public screenings, we rent the films in
DCP, Blu-ray,
DVD, and occasionally 16mm and 35mm. We do not rent to individuals.
Please inquire for pricing on all rentals. Prepayment is required before shipping any film.
When admission is charged, the rate per screening is the agreed upon rental rate or 50% of the gross box office receipts, whichever is greater. A box office report must be filed with Zipporah Films following the screening. If an additional payment is due, a separate invoice will be sent. Additional rental screenings on the same or subsequent days are 50% of the initial fee.
How to Schedule a Rental
We require a completed Rental Agreement and a purchase order or prepayment in order to ship a film. You may use one Rental Agreement to order multiple titles. Please order well in advance of your rental date. Rental orders will be confirmed by email or phone within 4 business days. New England: $30 per film
East of the Mississippi River: $35 per film

Return Shipping
We depend upon the prompt return of films. Rentals must be returned via UPS, U.S. Priority Mail, or Federal Express insured for the amount specified on the shipping instructions included in the film case. Prints must be postmarked no later than 2 business days after the screening date. A LATE FEE of $50 per day may be charged if the rental is received in Cambridge more than 5 business days following the screening.
Terms and Conditions for Rentals
Date changes and cancellations must be requested by email and are only confirmed by written response. No charge will be incurred if the film has not been shipped.
Damages: Each 16mm and 35mm print is inspected and cleaned before and after each screening. If a print is returned damaged or with footage missing, you will be billed for replacement footage at $2 US per foot, with a 100 foot minimum. Most often, it is necessary for an entire reel to be replaced. The client will be invoiced accordingly.
